The closest national park to Arusha town – northern Tanzania’s safari capital – Arusha National Park is a multi-faceted jewel, often overlooked by safari goers, despite offering the opportunity to explore a beguiling diversity of habitats within a few hours
The park's appeal is mainly its scenery. The habitat diversity spans from montane rainforest to moist savannah to alpine moorland. The most prominent landmark is Mount Meru. Other highlights are a massive extinct volcano and several scenic Momela lakes with thousands of flamingoes, with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background on a clear day.
After breakfast at your place, you will be picked up by our Professional Safari guide with Picnic Lunch. The drive from Arusha is about 40 minutes to the gate where you will stop for short paper work to process the entry permit which will be done by your guide; there is a small visitor’s centre where you can ready get some information about the park as well as washrooms.
Your tour start from there as soon as you get in the park, Small serengeti will offer different variety of wildlife which is including huge heard of buffaloes, warthog water buck, bushbucks, baboons and other species of wildlife.
The tour will take you all the way to Ngurdoto Crater where you will have chance to see the rare Black and white colubus Monkeys, and then to Momela Lakes where you will enjoy to see thousands of flamingoes.
Picnic Lunch will be served in one of the picnic site in the park and there after proceed with game viewing and if Interested you can do Walking safari with an escort with an Armed ranger.(optional tour 24$ walking fees)
Later in the evening you will drive back to Arusha for drop off at your place.
